Internal Operating Regulations
A. OPERATION
1. The “PAIDIKORAMA” daycare center-kindergarten remains open daily from 7.15 a.m.-4.30 p.m. from Monday to Friday.
2. It follows the holiday schedule determined by the daycare center owners’ association. It remains closed during the summer period, in the month of August.
3. The classes are divided according to the age of the children.
B. TUITION FEES
1. The annual tuition fees are formed according to the benefits and are paid as follows: advance payment upon registration of the child and ten or eleven installments depending on the period of study.
2. a) After registration, the advance payment is not refundable under any circumstances and for any reason.
b) In the event that for any reason the child’s studies are interrupted after registration, it is expressly agreed that the installment of the month in which the interruption will be paid. In this case, the advance payment is not deducted or offset. It is also agreed that amounts paid are not refunded.
c) The agreed annual amount is paid regardless of whether the child, for any reason or cause, does not attend the daycare center-kindergarten all days of the week or during the full operating hours of the daycare center-kindergarten.
d) In the event that a child temporarily interrupts his studies and returns after a certain period of time, provided that it is within the limits of the school year we are going through, the entire initial agreed amount is paid without any reduction or discount, since immediately after the child’s registration, one of the predetermined places is reserved, which cannot be made available for the study of another child.
3. For siblings, a 10% discount is provided on the total value of the tuition.
C. REGISTRATION
The following are required for registration:
a) Completion of the registration form.
b) Birth certificate.
c) Photocopy of vaccines from the health book to check mandatory vaccination.
d) Medical certificate stating that the child has no medical conditions.
e) Color photographs, passport size (2).
f) Payment of the agreed deposit.
D. TRANSPORTATION OF CHILDREN
1. Children are transported by privately owned school buses. Children are picked up and dropped off at a designated point after consultation with the parents.
2. In case of absence of the child or any change, the secretariat is notified the previous day.
3. Children are handed over to a parent or a relative designated by the parent. In case of a change of these persons, the parent informs the secretariat in a timely manner.
4. Parents must wait for the school bus at the specified time and location 5 minutes before the children are picked up and dropped off.
5. The school bus cannot wait because traffic problems arise. In case of delay, the school bus departs and the child is picked up or dropped off at PAIDIKORAMA.
6. Please be consistent in order to avoid delays.
7. During the transportation of children, the following inviolable rules apply:
a) Always wear seat belts
b) Do not eat in the school bus
E. SAFETY
1. Children enrolled in PAIDIKORAMA are provided with civil liability insurance.
F. MEDICAL MONITORING
1. The “PAIDIKORAMA” daycare center provides medical monitoring to children.
a) The pediatrician examines all children. Each child has his/her individual card indicating the date of the examination, the diagnosis and the
medication in case of illness.
b) Please inform the secretariat of any contagious diseases of the child.
c) The “PAIDIKORAMA” daycare center cannot accommodate children who are sick or in the process of recovery. Generally, after a cold, the child must be fever-free for one (1) 24 hours and without other symptoms (vomiting or diarrhea) and return to school upon the recommendation of the pediatrician.
2. The “PAIDIKORAMA” daycare center collaborates with:
a) a speech therapy center. Children undergo preventive check-ups twice a year.
b) a child psychologist who monitors children and acts as a consultant to teachers and parents.
c) a model pediatric otolaryngology center. Each registered child is entitled to a FREE preventive examination at their clinic once per school year.
d) a pediatric dentist. Children undergo preventive dental check-ups twice a year.
